Entry Requirements
To become a hackney or private hire driver, you need...
- to be at least 18 years old
- to have held a full driving license for at least a year
- a criminal records check
- a medical assessment
In addition to the above, it helps if you...
- are a good driver
- know your way around Manchester
- have good communication skills
- want the ability to work without a boss!
To complete the course, you need...
- the ability to read English
- the time to come to every lesson on your course
- the time to do the homework required - roughly 4 hours a week for Private Hire, and 8 hours a week for Hackney
- Our Guarantee - We know we do a good job, so if you take the full 8 week course, take the test, and for whatever reason you fail, we will continue to train you until you pass, so long as you attend regularly and do the work we set for you.
